Back Squatting

i was surprised at how difficult the back squat was after not doing it for some time. i've experienced that now a couple of times, that if i don't consistently back squat, my performance on that exercise goes to shit. A trap or dead lift, trgo four months of trap or dead Lift, go back to the bar bell dead lift, stronger on it, like jame. Bit of strength in the trap bar carries right over to the barbell, but not the back squat.
