The Role of Sparinal Lactone in Cirrhosis With Acites
Sparinal lactone is the diuretic of choice in people with cirrhosis with acites. And you start it at about 100 milligrams a day. The furosemide in a ratio of 40 to 100, that's there for maintaining the potassium balance. So we have the upregulation of the renin angiotensin-aldosterone system and then increased plasma renin activity leading to salt and water retention.
