The Blind Spot of Evidence

In the current academic structures that we all swim in, it's tantamount to death to change your mind on a theory that you've been defending your whole life. I think people have actually quite firmly and happily grasped onto the idea that there's no point to life. That's a shift that is very hard for people to accept, not just within the academy, but within their heart of hearts because they've spent so long believing in it. So most of this book is just building the cold-blooded scientific and philosophical case, but obviously with these kinds of deep questions about meaning, you're you're, are going to want to explore the implications for human existence.
