The Evolution of Zooster and Chickenpox

In 1875, the transmissibility of chickenpox was first demonstrated through inoculation of human quote volunteers. In 1892, the link between chickenpox and zoster was first suggested after the Viennese physician, Janos von Bokei noticed that chickenpox tended to pop up in susceptible children in a household where there happened to be a zoster case. It's just so interesting that they were able to find like, I mean, they didn't know virus, right? But I think it was like actually physical change, like changes. Like the inflammation and things that you would see starting there.
