The History of the Uber
In 1889, a businessman named FS Chadborn gets off of a ferry in downtown San Francisco. He hails what is very common back in the day, a horse drawn carriage to take him where he is going on his business. In 1907 were the first cars, the first motorized cabs arrive in New York City and a businessman named Henry Allen imports them from France. But one year in, it becomes clear that not all is utopian in this new transportation model in cities.
