Sanders met Pete Harmon, an owner of a small restaurant in Salt Lake City and they went on to open their Kentucky Fried Chicken there. But it wasn't a smooth journey to KFC success. Beck realized she had been writing this report for so long and the KFC restaurants did not exist yet.
