There is conflict, but it's not the traditional conflict that we associate with dramatic storytelling. Was that a conscious decision? Did that evolve when you moved from this more fictional story to A to B to C character arc? Or is it something that was a part of your attention from the beginning? No, I think it's a really interesting question that gets to the heart of all writing and there are different ways to phrase it.
