The party of resistance sees the revolution as an end point, says Julian Zelizer. But those on the more radical side don't see it that way, he says. They fear popular forces will be worse than old regime and want to return society to its pre-revolutionary state. "They absolutely do not want a social revolution, they barely want a political revolution," writes Zelizer.
