The Light Is Something We All Might Have in a Home

This poem is filled with instructions, in italy about what to do with your body. Stand at the foot of prayer mats, facing kibla and then bowing down. This poem moves from that glorious language about mystery into something as simple as a lamp. And i love the slight anarchist way of describing god as perfect ness. That takes courage, i think, to describe the mystery of religion there. Because even if you don't believe it, believe that it might be a perfect emptiness,. perhaps, upon which to project all the experiences we don't know how to do with.
