There's nothing that can excuse anything that he did so separate is it possible for you to assess like the quality of the book separate from your distaste and like complete revulsion at humbert oh yeah i think that the book is is really great. Even though you don't sympathize with humbert and i don't think you're meant to sympathizing with humbert like the stuff that he says make it a really entertaining book to read after he has died.
