Was the Warren Court Part of Making America More Democratic?
Was the Warren court, to some extent, part of the making America more democratic? Is that what I would think about it? Because I think that you did a good job distinguishing between the court's partisanship today and its general opposition or counter its ideology. One thing that's sort of underlying both of these questions is what should be the relationship between public opinion and Supreme Court decisions. And if people don't like what we're doing, then they can go out and vote for the other side effectively.
