How to Prescribe a Time Trial for an Athlete

Max, I think the key takeaway is there from your shareings is not about prescribing the RPE. So as you say, telling the athlete to go and run a 10 out of 10, 30-minute time trial. It is about monitoring their response to factors manipulated by coaching practitioners. In terms of the external load, I always prescribe minutes. And often some, often athletes need to reset that way where we're constantly being told like you're moving at this rate,. You know? But it depends on the athlete, right?
