People were exposing themselves to some risk by wearing the jeans or having the Coca-Cola can exposed in their living rooms. And it was, I think, a very obvious mark of protest in a country where there was no open protest. But interestingly, there's links into what you were just saying as a form of kind of protest. It immediately loses its shine the moment the wall falls and you've got access to these things. You get this disaffection with this whole thing once again.
