Scottish Wild Cats - The Problems of Domestic Cats

Scottish wild cats are one of the most critically endangered animals on Earth. The main reason for them disappearing is actually hybridization with ferril cats. Domestic cats do quite well out in the wild, looking for their own food. But not only are they hybrodizing with scottish wild cats, and we are losing an iconic predator,. They also hunt small birds and rodents and amphibians that are also quite rare in this country. And because domestic cats aren't a natural part of our food chain, they have quite a negative impact on our environment.
