The Value of Design Thinking Processes
I think one of the downsides of design thinking is that it centers the designer in everything. When I talk about food systems being designed or the infrastructure bill being designed, that's not designed as colonizing and says designers can do everything. It's actually designed as democratizing as saying we're all designing. So I have to be careful myself when I use it when I use the term design. But I just honestly have a pretty expensive understanding of what of what design can be, right? And so I don't always want to assume that that everybody sees it the same way.
