Learning Spanish Is Harder Than Learning English
There's this weird imbalance that exists between the spanish speaking, latin american world and united states. Spanish has a degree of structural predictability that taught me more about english than English classes did. I didn't appreciate how much english was drawn from germanic languages and latin languages and has lone words from all over planet earth. It's just a weird language, but it's also what makes the language so dang effective. And now i'm like, ha, man. I really like using spanish now because it's the working language. How about that? I think it is. But i don't know, I feel like we're in dangerous territory here
