The Guideline on Scapoid Fractures

This month we are going to talk about scapoid fractures. We will go through a long standing guide line that was reviewed last in 20 18. From a medico legal perspective, there does remain a significant burden to patients from delay or mis diagnosis of this common injury. If you don't consider it at the first visit and tell the patient they've sprained their wrist, and expect it to hurt for a few week and then to come back if it doesn't get better than you may well have missed the boat.
