Is the Standard Model Really the Final Story?
Supersymmetry was invented by theorists oa special goal. The standard model says how the different components behave, but not why they behave that way. With super symmetry, the weak and strong forces start to look similar under big bang conditions. And then a third problem in the standard model dealing with that corner stone that took up last week's edition of discovery.
