The Blinders on a Horse

As you get older, there's a gift here that the blinders that you've put on yourself, suddenly start to come off. And you begin to truly see what they call the big picture of life. You may not have had time when you were younger or the opportunity to see that big picture. The irony here is that at my age now, 87, I am looking back. We're all learning that and sadly, sometimes it doesn't happen until your kids are older that you go, Oh, God, I could have helped them avoid feeling so much.
