How to Run a Bitcoin Node
If you want to look into a block explorer, you need to be running your own Bitcoin node. And if you don't have one, then you're increasingly just having your hand held. The only person that needs to know that is the person that's sending you bitcoins. This mentality of privacy needs to be drilled into people for their own benefit. But we're not saying you have to run a node, or you should buy one of these for the greater good... You're going to need it.
