Daily nightly, written by michael nesmith, was always claimed by nesmith to be an impressionistic portrait of the riots. The psychodeliclyrics sound to me more like their talking about drug use and street walking sex workers than anything to do with the riotsi but the song that would have the most lasting effect on popular culture was the one that steve stills wrote that night.
