The Importance of Serum Free Light Chains in Plasma Cell Dysgraces
The one thing that tends to be missing from this workup is the serum free light chains. A spot test doesn't really give us much information at all, again, diagnostic and prognostic purposes. So forget about the other peaks. You will really can only interpret those other peaks and those values if you're looking at the curve as a whole.
