The Second Battle of Manassas

Second battle Manassas is the same thing as second battle bull run. These are naming conventions. The north preferred to name things after rivers, creeks, bodies of water. So it would be second bull run for the north. It's kind of interesting that the first one is named bull run and popular imagination. Almost southern gloating, I suspect.
