Is There a Lack of Decency in Judaism?

Ilo: A decent society, even if it's not liberal, is a sciety in which institutions do not humiliate people. And what i see here is a lack of decency. The most powerful arguments for religious tolerance that actually worked were not the pragmatic arguments.
