The Unpopular Opinion of Optimizing for Performance
The bugs that I hit the most in Go are, like, things that will go out of memory and then just the whole program dies. So I've actually been really fascinated with Zig lately because they do all explicit allocations. People tend to optimize the wrong parts of their application because it's where 90% of our performance problems are. Do we have any other unpopular opinions? All right.
