Confessionalism

What does it mean to be confessional? Ah, is it just like, i can have this paper on the wall? And there's other questions in other parts of baptist life of the doctrine of god. I mean, how serious do we have to when it comes to something like the second london confession of faith,. What sort of divine simplicity is required with something like that?
