Mortal Sin Entails a Moral Disorder of the Highest Degree

Aquinas: Mortal sin entails making a creaturely good my life's ultimate and a purpose. That is a moral disorder of the highest degree because it involves an entire disordering of this. And so what Aquinas wants to say is by way of an now analogously, the principle by which I'm directed to God as my supernatural end is charity. So he uses the example of sight, right. Your sight can be defective in so far as you have trouble seeing like your your sight is hampered. But when the principles destroy, it's irreparable. You can't fix the defect except by miraculous intervention, right.
