The Consumption Metadata on Publicated Artifacts

Pants was a project that started at, as an internal project of Twitter. It focused on how to speed up Scala builds and make them more tractable. The V2 system is designed to accept your codebase as it is rather than generate huge amounts of metadata. We wanted to build something that was for everyone - you shouldn't have to work at Microsoft or Google or Twitter to get this quality of build experience anyone should be able to use.
