The Prescriptivism of Language

Linguists disagree with the prescriptives view of language. Some people like to correct other puoples, like grammar. When we correct each other on our grammar, we know it's cause its just funny. It is more of a banters thing i saw, i suppose, a few years agoe orde to become an actual thing,. Then people realize it is just banter, yes?
