AIDS and the Shadows of the Types
AIDS can be very oppositional, controversial, but they did not always see that. They don't see how much they go to the other side, that they are contrarians. For AIDS on a growth path, it's going to be really important for them to feel those vulnerable feelings somewhere in their path of development. And so they had to toughen up as a coping strategy. But becoming more whole means reintegrating and re-experiencing potentially the pain of the child that didn't get taken care of.
