Polytheism and Trinitarianism
Social trinitarianism does not a the adequate constructs, philosophically, theologically to guard against polytheism. When all you have is some kind of mere unity of will, no unity of power,no unity of no singular singularity of will, you really just have a polytheistic system that is kind of in some sense, loosely but not in terms of essence. As we've looked at gerhart in the past, gerhardt associates the notion of separate, distinct wills as arianism and he considers it heretical. That's an important part of our tradition.
