Crew was then the pre eminent temple of wine amongst staurants in new york. The lot that was being sold as i came in wer it was two bottles of dom perignon rose champagne, vintage 19 59. As i walked in, those bottles were being hammered down for 84 thousand dollars. Even with that example, though those bottles once existed, some of the other examples, the bottles never existed.
