Android - Security Doesn't Sell?
One of the bigger issues of Android is that maybe it gets fixed in Android, but then does that get backported to everybody else? I mean, you have to rely on these other companies to send out updates to their own OS. And sometimes they just don't do it or it takes them a long time to do it because for them to work on this old software, the phone is already sold. That's also the issue that security doesn't sell. It does not factor into financial incentives, especially in proprietary code.
