The Role of Electrophysiology in SVT

It's theoretically possible to discern AVNRT from AVRT on an EKG. But frankly, it's real difficult to do. It's got to be at absolutely perfect tracing and even in perfect conditions like you can always do it. So I think it's much more practical to kind of think about the general mechanisms by which these things are happening. Because then if you understand the general mechanisms, that really helps you to understand, well, what are we going to do to treat the patient? We just touched on some awesome points, but including how these children offer present and what goes into this.
