The Case of a Serial Rapist
A serial rapist was at work. He knew the area like no other. His bravado and lack of fear was rarely seen in criminal investigations. Latent prints are the type of fingerprint not seen by the naked eye. They can be left even when you think your hand is devoid of oils or dampness. It seemed likely that they belonged to the rapist. The victim confirmed he rummaged through that closet. Perhaps he took his gloves off at some stage, and forgot to put them back on. A spoon found under her sofa didn't belong to her. When Daley took it for examination, she found no burns or scratches on it to indicate it was used for drugs.
