When I work with companies, I do this thing called a strategy foundry. The rules of the foundry are first, the leadership has to be there. And they have to agree that it's going to be a challenge based thing. That's number one. If they want to just set goals, then it's not going to work. They have to set aside the time for them. It's actually an organizational problem that's severe and needs to be attacked.
