I think we are moving left actually, but if you would combine the cultural stuff plus the economic stuff in the sense that both parties are to the left economically than they were 12 years ago. Social conservatism doesn't sell well in a modern society and secularization is sort of a inevitable trend. I think social media has made us dumber and I think a lot of left-wing economics is just dumb. People who oppose free trade tend to be dumb and like, you know, there's not talk of reforming entitlements 10 years ago.
