Vance: The fact that the tarot is personal and of course meaning is personal right I mean you can have meaning for someone else. How does that relate when you're doing readings for other people? Vance: We have personal meanings we have archetypal meaning that is shared with the collective. There are also commonalities. So in the course of a reading it's a both and situation like there's the collective knowledge base there's your knowledge base and then there's the person you're reading for who has a knowledge base.
