I'm a programmer who thinks that salespeople and marketers are like shady people. And so I had this like negative connotation for all that. But I do need to figure out some alternative. So my alternative was I give away a lot of free stuff and I have some pro videos. By switching to that, everybody started to notice, Oh, this is just like Rails cast. And then instead of buying a course, they're like, Oh, I miss rails cast too. I'd like to support that.
