Google's 20% time doesn't mean everyone works on the same thing every day, says Sundar Pichai. People work on their core project for a few months and then take some time off of that to do something else. The key is iteration; you learn enough about rough things before you launch them so they're still cool 23 years later. "I just feel really lucky to be at Google where there's a ton of smart people to learn from," he said.
