The Evolution of a Flower
Schlegel argues that we don't have a good enough idea of what a flower is supposed to be. We carry in as a general image of a flower in accordance with the different types but also through a physionomic sense if I may call it that for all of organic nature. This would enable us to recognize the very first flower we ever laid eyes on precisely as a flower as the delicate apex of the plant world.
