Modern Chess

In the 90s, people were panicking because how do I survive against E4? The Berlin wasn't on the stage yet and some Sicilians you thought you might just lose by force. Modern chess is a lot different than it was in my prime years. You can come up with an idea in the morning and then you figure out in an hour or two. Of course not against everybody and I think memory is more important nowadays that you're really ready for anything.
