The Son of God's Test

Jesus was led up by the Spirit into wilderness. Satan's intention of course is to persuade Jesus to do wrong. The initiative with God leading Christ into this experience of testing is to demonstrate that Jesus is who he was pronounced to be. That which was declared by God will now be demonstrated to be in Jesus.
