How to Deal With Oppositional Defiance Disorder
Many parents of children with ODD feel hopeless and they feel alone so do the teachers. Many families have a harder time in general and often wind up emotionally, spiritually and functionally bankrupt. If you're going to tell an oppositional defiant kid or any kid or any person, no, you have to take the energy out of it because if they read that it's hard for you to say no. One of the ways to avoid conflict is by having a written structure posted on your refrigerator where everyone can see it. You know, there's three ways to deescalate oppositional behavior.
