We need to balance that with a whole raft of Banti's teaching where he encourages us to be on good terms with our family and the point of view of metah. My relationship with my mother changed dramatically and it became much more of a sort of individual relationship based on love. And it's worth pursuing with that because it makes such a difference to one's own kind of life as well as her life. It's part of spiritual practice, isn't it?
