Cloud Front vs CDN for Go Rails Assets

Cloud front is a proxy that says, I don't care where your assets are, but the client always will see the right thing. You can also upload them directly to S three and have cloud front point to either location. For smaller rails apps, people still don't take enough advantage of using a CDN. It just feels like a underused piece of rails that slap the asset host on there.
