He's setting up the issue of living in the spirit of Christ as freedom. He says, look, Christ has set you free for this freedom. You've been redeemed by the death and resurrection of Jesus. Why are you going to run back to it instead of say, yes, redeemer, I'll follow you? So he says, don't go back to that, to a yoke of slavery.
