The Instinctive Center Is Not Free to Be Its Own Center

Gurgif said that we feel with our instincts, meaning we have emotional reactions to our instinct and that we think with our feelings. Our work then becomes allowing each center to do its own work. And the way that we do that is we use sensation and feeling and perceiving that we're actually present to those things because in the trance of our type, we're usually dissociated from all those. Gurgif talked about everything, everything as material, even finer materials like essence. When you're present, it's like you're collecting a substance within yourself. It's like you can feel it right now wherever you are.
