Evan Gurskovich's Appeal for Release Has Been Turned Down
Evan Gurskovich has been wrongfully detained since March when a reporting trip in Russia. He's facing espionage charges, which the Wall Street Journal and the US government both deny. Russian spokesman Demetri Pescov said that there are certain contacts on this matter but he doesn't want to make them public. It took 10 months to get Brittany Griner back and almost three years to get Trevor Reed back.
