Nancy pelosy may not go ahead with this visit to tyvan. The us. doesn't need to escalate this matter further. Tivan is essentially under their control. They have 15 thousand troops permanently stationed on australian soil and so on. So er they don't need to push china too far. But if the americans back down, which i think they would be likely to do, what will be the consequence of that? That will be definitely a loss of a certain amount of prestige for the US.
